Things I've sold not so very long ago.....
Beatles 2011 finished piece for exhibition.
This was one of my pieces for the Beatles. It's also listed in Vintage Beatles, but it's a good expression of my love of painting and sculpture. The sculpture I do is made from old boxes, mainly from Amazon and things I find in skips or sometimes just in the street. I did this a while ago now. Years in fact as time has definitely speeded up, and now we've not got Stephen Hawking to explain it all to us I don't know what to do. I've just done a 3D dragon commission which is on the front page. Anyway these skills enable me to create 3D murals for kids bedrooms. I can build totally safe objects to accompany a painted wall. It's almost like making a stage set on my own. Anyway if you would like a price for 3D mural please get in touch on my contacts page. I will always get back to you. Thanks Suzy x
The picture with the papier mache top and the painting on canvas to the left is called boys on film. It's a play on words referring to Duran Duran's song girls on film, but as the Beatles were men to the best of my knowledge I changed girls to boys. Aren't I clever? (Being sarcastic)

Waiting for Luke....
This is a picture of Princess Leia, C3PO and Jabba the hutt. It was commissioned and done for an old friend. I enjoyed doing it because instead of just copying a still from the film I took the images from different source materials. For example the picture of the late and much missed Carrie Fisher. She personally liked these studio pictures and I liked the stiffness of her poses. She was uncomfortable in the famous and now Iconic bikini. But I think her static pose is perfect for the situation, as she is proud and unyielding to Jabba. So it suits the composition. Jabba's image came from an out take of Star Wars, and the picture I used for C3PO is from a plastic model in a catalogue. Because of his gold body a lot of the pictures available of him are without definition. Because the suit is so shiny it doesn't photograph well and many of the details appear missing because of the reflections. So using a doll to copy off was the far better option. As it's a biggish painting it couldn't be scanned so as usual had to make do with a low resolution camera from a phone.
These are two pictures I did when saddened by grief after losing my beloved family members. Far too many in sad circumstances. So I did these when I didn't feel like painting anymore. The joy had been sucked out of me. Strangely I did the one on the right before I'd even heard of the Walking dead. This was done when I was feeling strange and disorientated and the figures all have very sinister faces but are hiding even more sinister dead and corrupt souls. Yeah bit heavy but strangely satisfying.
Beatles papier mache
These little fellas took me over three months to make, because of drying time etc. they're pretty big around 2.5 ft. each. They were made for the Beatles exhibition 2010. I didn't sell them at the exhibition but sold them this to a Beatles mad couple for their wedding. The whole thing is going to be a Beatles theme. I should have asked for some photos. I reduced them so remember my prices are fair, and I'm always open to negotiation!

Self explanatory me thinks. Basically since the internet has showed us many things like cats who play piano, shout no no no and then there is of course grumpy cat. These days most of us seem to be obsessed with cats so I thought I love some of Picasso's work so thought why not combine the two? This has been done for another site that sells your images. Unfortunately no matter how good the photography, it never does justice to the work in real life. Anyway I exhibited in the local library and a woman bought it for her daughter as an extra Christmas present and her daughter also an artist was delighted. One of the reasons I do art is to put colour in life and try and create a little joy. If I've done that then I've achieved something good.
